James is an experienced professional with a breadth of experience in health, social care and commercial settings. James works on a freelance (self employed) basis on projects that require specialist input, external consultancy, or added capacity.

Contracting arrangements may be as short as a few hours reviewing, researching or proposing a policy or strategy; a few days undertaking a second party audit or investigation; or a few months providing specialist support with the redesign or recommissioning of a service.

Examples of projects that James can support with include:

Policy design, implementation and dissemination
Independent incident or complaint investigation
CQC or HIW 'readiness check' or external review
Auditing against ISO (or other) standards, policy or NICE guidance
Implementation of Quality Management Systems to ISO9001:2015 and other recognised standards
High level project oversight for assurance purposes; or lower level direct project management
Drug related death review (in accordance with local policy and national guidance)
Domestic homicide review (in accordance with local policy and national guidance)
Bespoke E-learning course project management, including SCORM compliant content design and development
